Day 1 Arival Entebbe

You will be received by your driver/guide at the Airport. Depending on your arrival time, your lodge or hotel will be picking you if it is a night flight. But if your flight arrival is in the day, our guide will be meeting you at the airport.

Day 2: Kampala Sezibwa Falls, Mabira Forest, Jinja Source of the Nile

You will be picked from the lodge or hotel at 7:00am to start transfering to Jinja.
Making brief stopovers at Sezibwa Falls and then Mabira Forest Reserve for nature walks and birding. The drive to Jinja is scenic with tea plantations, sugar plantations as you head to what was once the industrial city of Uganda.
In Jinja we shall have our lunch after which we pay a visit to the fascinating Source of the River Nile. We shall have a boat cruise along the river banks of the Nile.

Day 3: By Road Sipi Falls

Our drive takes us to the land of the Bamasaba people of mount Elgon, through Mbale town which was known as the cleanest town in East Africa. We shall check in at our Lodge, have lunch and go for a trek through the rocks along the path leading to the magnificent Sipi Falls and caves. During this trek we shall pass through villages and families below Mountain Elgon and several farms.

Day 4: Sipi Falls to Kidepo via Soroti, Lira, Kitgum

With an early breakfast and the cold winds around, we drive towards Kitgum town for lunch. After lunch we continue to Kidepo Valley National Park which is a long bumpy/dirt road-journey and finally check into the park in the evening at;

Day 5: Kidepo Valley National Park Exploration

Game drive starts as you head-out of the lodge with Zebras around you. Expect to see ostriches, hyenas, lions on rocks, jackals, buffalos, zebras, elephants, lots of antelopes, giraffes, and drive along river Narus to view lots of birds. We then get back to the lodge for lunch. Return for another evening/night game drive and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight:

Day 6: Kidepo valley to Murchison falls national park

Breakfast and a long drive to Murchison Falls National Park – Uganda’s biggest Park which is over 4,834 sqkm. check into:

Day 7: game drive, boat ride Murchison falls national park

An early cup of tea/coffee at 6:00am after which we go to start a rewarding game drive activity searching for several species of game. Elephants, Giraffes, Buffalos, plus more as the checklist of mammals reaches 76 we continue searching until the Delta point for a variety of Birds and mammals. For loves of birds this is a fantastic spot to see lots of birds. After the game drive we we heard back to the lodge for lunch and then go the 3 hours Boat ride to the base of Murchison Falls where Nile crocodiles, elephants quenching their thirst for the afternoon sun and a variety of beautiful bird species along the falls.

DAY 8: Murchison falls game park to Kibale forest national park

Morning breakfast, check out of the park and drive along lake Albert, to the escarpment area for a great view of the great rift valley, continue to Hoima town for lunch at the Kolping Hotel. Continue through Mabale, Kagadi towns with great views of the local community, thatched houses, school kids and finally to Kyenjojo town. Please note that it is a dirt road from Murchison Falls to Kyenjonjo town. Drive 55km to Fort Portal town and continue through the tea plantations for your evening.

Day 9: Chimpanzee tracking Kibale forest

Early morning breakfast, continue to Kibale forest park headquarters for a morning briefing and start the chimpanzee tracking experience. Expect to see a variety of monkeys, birds and various tree plant species.
Return for lunch at the lodge. Afternoon Bigodi Nature walk with lots of monkey species to be seen.

Day 10: Queen Elizabeth national park, boat ride

Morning breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, with great views of Rwenzori Mountain, drive through Kasese town to Mweya lodge for your lunch. Get ready for an evening boat ride on the Kazinga channel with chances of seeing many bird species, hippos, elephants, crocodiles, leopards, buffaloes.

Day 11: game drive, crater lake drive

We shall have a morning and afternoon game drive in the park and see lots of animals such as Uganda kobs, lions, elephants, buffalos, and the warthogs, giant forest hogs. Evening relaxation at the lodge as you look at the flat plains of the park with chances of viewing elephants in the acacia tree plants.

Day 12: Queen Elzabeth national park to Bwindi Impenetrable national park

Heading to Bwindi through the Ishasha plains we shall then try for a chance of seeing the tree climbing lions on the way. Lunch at Savannah Resort Hotel, continue to Bwindi and check into:

Day 13: Gorilla trekking or gorilla tracking

We shall have early morning breakfast after which we report to the park headquarters for a vital briefing on gorilla tracking. You shall then start gorilla tracking expedition whose duration shall depend on how fast you shall track a gorilla family.
You shall then return to the accommodation facility for relaxation and overnight.

Day 14: Bwindi forest to lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, we shall drive through Bwindi forest to the open hilly areas over looking Kabale town. Drive through the potato cultivation and along Lake Bunyonyi

Day 15: Lake Bunyonyi exploration

After all the long days on dirt roads, we relax on Lake Bunyonyi, with optional canoeing, and village walks.

Day 16 & 17: Lake Bunyonyi to lake Mburo

We shall have early morning breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National park, check into the park as you drive through the game trails with chances of zebras, elands, topis, waterbucks and later have our lunch at Mihingo Lodge.
After relaxation we shall have an evening boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi with chances of fish eagles, hippos, and crocodiles.

Day 18: Lake Mburo travel to Entebbe

We shall have a morning game drive and then drive back to Kampala for your evening flight at Entebbe International Airport. Stopping at the equator on Masaka road, you stand a chance to by souvenirs here. A long the way there is also a possibility of seeing the drum makers before we continue on to Entebbe.

3-4 pax on safari, the cost per person will be $4,868 including one gorilla permit.
